Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 1, 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Me 2.0 ("we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Me 2.0 app and the website at me20app.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: the email address and any name you provide when you create an account, and your authentication method (including, if you choose it, sign-in via a third-party provider such as Google).
- Interview content: the answers you give during the app's guided interview, including your description of your situation, any baseline self-ratings (for example, a 1–10 scale), and answers to safety screening questions.
- Listening and progress data: which sessions and stages you've unlocked and listened to, how much of each you've listened to, quiz or check-in responses after a session, and your token balance and purchase history.
- Basic device and technical data: device type, operating system and app version, and limited diagnostic data (such as crash logs) used to keep the app working. We do not collect precise location data.
- Payment data: when you purchase a token pack, payment is handled by our payment processor or by the relevant app store (Apple App Store / Google Play). We receive confirmation of the purchase and the token amount, not your full card number.
3. How we use this information
We use the information above to: operate your account; run the interview and build the program and stage content that corresponds to what you've shared; track your listening progress and unlock stages you've paid for; process token purchases; respond when you contact us for support; and improve the app's content and safety screening over time. We do not use your interview content or progress data to train any public, general-purpose AI model outside of generating your own program content.
4. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who need it to run the app, and only the minimum amount necessary for their specific function:
- A processing provider used to generate personalized stage content from your interview answers, under a contract that limits their use of your data to that purpose.
- A payment processor and/or app store billing system, to process token purchases.
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, to store and run the app and its data securely.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the safety of a user or the public (for example, in response to a credible safety concern raised during a crisis-screening question). If Me 2.0 is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this same policy or a policy offering equivalent protection.
5. Data storage & security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to personal data and interview content is restricted to the systems and personnel who need it to operate the service. We retain account, interview, and progress data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward for backup and legal purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
6. Your rights
You can request to access, export, or delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time by emailing tranhuuhoangminh@gmail.com. We will act on a deletion request within a reasonable time, except where we're required to retain certain records by law (for example, purchase records for tax purposes).
7. Cookies
The website uses, at most, minimal first-party analytics cookies to understand site traffic; it does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The app does not use advertising trackers.
8. Children's privacy
Me 2.0 is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll publish the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
10. YouTube API Services
Our channel publishing tool uses YouTube API Services to upload and manage Me 2.0's own videos on the Me 2.0 YouTube channel. By using that part of our service, the channel owner agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
What the tool accesses: with the channel owner's authorization, it accesses the channel's basic information (channel ID and title), uploads video files and metadata (title, description, and thumbnail) to that channel, checks the processing and publication status of those uploads, and posts comments on the channel's own videos.
What the tool stores: the OAuth access and refresh tokens for the authorized channel, kept on our private server with restricted access, and publishing records for our own videos (video IDs, titles, and publication status). The tool does not access or store data about other YouTube users or other channels, does not use YouTube API data for advertising, and does not share it with third parties or sell it.
The channel owner can revoke the tool's access at any time through Google's security settings, or by contacting us; revocation stops the tool from accessing the channel, and stored tokens are deleted on request. How Google handles data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
